We provide test kits to catteries for measuring allergen levels in Siberian cats or kittens. No other breed has been shown to have the same reduction in allergens. Even in Siberians, there is a large variation of allergen levels, even within single litters.
Our kits include the materials and forms needed, and prepaid laboratory fees. We will walk you through the collection procedures and assist in interpreting results. Due to the very small amount of saliva to be collected, special laboratory processing is required.

#1) Test Kit Fee: This is a single charge for each litter, or up to 7 cats. This includes the test kit, preparation, lab PO, and mailing. This fee is charged for each series of samples (ie: one litter or up to 6 adult cats). Note, all samples (adults or kittens) in one order must be tested and the submitted sent to the lab in one mailing.
#2 ) License & Lab Fees: An individual fee for each cat or kitten. Saliva tests require a series of three individual tests per kitten. The majority of this fees is lab processing at InBio. The remainder is a limited license fee for use of our allergen charts and test processes.
Processing Time: Whenever possible, we send the kits to you within 2 working days. Our tests kits are processed by InBio, who typically provide results roughly 7 workdays after receipt of samples.
Payment: We accept payment by PayPal or US Check. Additional fees will apply for express mail, rapid lab turn-around, non-US mailing, foreign currency transfers. Canada transactions and PayPal business transactions will be billed a 5% processing fee. Payments made through PayPal “Friends” feature will not be charged a fee.
Refunds: Lab and License Fees will be refunded for all Kits returned (unused) within 90 days. The Test Kit preparation and mailing fee is non-refundable.
Verification: KittenTesting provides verification of allergen levels from the litter when contacted by prospective kitten buyers. We release the entire lab results, but do not disclose any other cattery information.
